As this year comes to a close, we asked our residents for a message to give to YOU.  

We asked for a message that would express what they wanted to say to you – for your support – the support that helps to provide them with a safe and loving home at Mountain Shadows.

If you have ever had any doubt about whether your support makes a difference in the lives of our residents, please watch the brief video below from resident Karen. 

While her words may be short and simple, they come from the heart – and they are spoken now directly to you.

Many of our residents cannot speak.  If they could, they would express their gratitude for your generous donations, for your volunteer efforts, for your relentless love and caring – so they can smile like this …

And they would thank you for encouraging them to live their lives to the fullest, so they can smile like this …

And, while many of our residents cannot stand, they are grateful to you for standing alongside them – through good times and bad – so that, even if sometimes there are tears, they know most days they will be able to smile like this…
