Boots & Bling Dance A Wild West, Rip-Snortin’ Good Time |
Residents, Lionel and Anne, from Oak house work in cahoots to spread country cheer. |
Yeehaw!!!!
Nearly 100 Mountain Shadows residents recently celebrated at the Boots and Bling Dance, a country hoedown at the Mountain Shadows campus in San Diego.
There was country music, line dancing and treats for everyone.
“Almost all of the residents came,” says Brittin Parker, Ash and Cedar houses, QIDP/A, MSCH-San Diego. “They danced the night away and did some line dancing. It was a great time. Everyone had fun!”
Adds Arlene Galvan, Director of Operations, Mountain Shadows Support Group, “The residents really enjoy being out, talking and chatting away – just connecting with one another. The connection is very meaningful for them.”
