Support Our Mountain Shadows Pickleball Star!

You can JOIN KAREN and play in our 1st ever Pickleball Tournament on October 30th at the exclusive Santaluz Club.

Your donation, or participation, will help to fund our CARE program, which provides life-enriching activities to our residents.

Says Karen, a 23-year resident of Mountain Shadows Willow house:

"I really like living here. I love Willow house and I like to recycle. I also like to color. I have Heidi for a roommate. I really like her.

"I like going on outings. We go fun places. We went to Dixon Lake and I got to see a crane, a huge white crane with a black beak! They’re beautiful and that’s one reason I don’t like to see animals hurt. I’m all for saving them.

"We also went to Safari Park. They are saving the animals. Rhinos are one of them, because of their horns. And I saw the most beautiful turtle EVER! I think Safari Park took that turtle in to save it.

"I never lived anywhere else. I won’t either, because I’ve seen other homes and I didn’t like them. I chose here. Willow house. I found a house with people that listen to me. I feel safe here."

We are so excited about our 1st Annual Mountain Shadows Foundation Pickleball Tournament!

And we need YOUR support to make this tournament a success!

Whether you're a seasoned pickler, or are new to the sport, we will be pickled pink if you will join us - so we can continue to offer activities, through our CARE program, to Karen, and all of our Mountain Shadows residents.

Date: Monday, October 30th, 2023

Location: The Santaluz Club

Games Begin: 1 pm

Cocktail Hour: 3 pm

Banquet: 4 pm

Entry Fee: $200 for a Team of Two

Entry Deadline: Monday, October 23rd, 2023

Format: 5 matches of fun doubles play. Custom timed competition, playing to 11, win by 1. Teams will be grouped into fun ability levels and/or Round Robin groups.
