Robert Chakarian, CPA is the Founder and President of Chakarian & Associates, CPAs Inc., a California corporation which provides individual, partnership, and corporation tax planning and preparation, accounting services, management advisory and consulting services, and retirement planning.
Robert has over 30 years of expertise in the public accounting field. Prior to launching his own CPA firm, Robert spearheaded the Professional Services Division of Considine & Considine, one of San Diego’s oldest and largest CPA firms. Under his leadership, the Professional Services Division doubled in size in just over four years.
As CPA for Mountain Shadows Community Homes for the past decade, Robert has provided a broad range of financial services to the Mountain Shadows Support Group (MSSG) organization. He currently serves as Treasurer of Mountain Shadows Support Group Board of Directors.
Over the years Robert has been actively involved and has chaired or co-chaired several years of Mountain Shadows’ Annual Fall Golf Classic, which is held each year to raise funds for the residents of Mountain Shadows. He became involved with Mountain Shadows when he realized how special the organization was compared to other organizations, he had been involved with early in his accounting career.
Robert graduated with a degree in accounting from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Public Accountant and licensed to practice in the state of California through the State Board of Accountancy.
